He served two consecutive terms as district representative, secretary-treasurer, and board president, navigating the board through different political landscapes.

Ed’s academic achievements include a bachelor’s with honors in sociology from Western Michigan University and an MBA from the prestigious Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ed has been happily married to his wife for over 40 years and takes pride in his two daughters and four grandchildren. Currently residing in Chelsea, Michigan, Ed cherishes his family life, with his daughters and grandchildren living nearby, enriching his daily experiences.

Beyond his professional and family life, Ed is an avid golfer, bowler, and heirloom-watermelon grower. He has a passion for Turner Classic Movies and enjoys a variety of hobbies, from CrossFit training to pickleball, reading, boating, and whiskey tasting. A self-proclaimed amateur sociologist and philosopher, Ed continually seeks personal growth and understanding.
